Home sellers throughout the London Region have seen housing prices soar during the last year. In February 2022 the average selling price for a home reached a record $825,000. As one of Ontario's fastest-growing urban areas, London will see upwards of another 10% spike in housing prices this year.
According to the London Free Press article:
"The average resale price of homes in London could reach $900,000 by the end of the year, even with prices expected to grow at a slower pace than the national average, a new forecast suggests."
"Industry giant Royal Lepage is projecting average selling prices in Canada will rise another 15 percent by the last quarter of 2022, up from the 10.5 percent it had predicted initially".
